Artist Retreat 01

Ostuni, Puglia, Italy
March 9th to 13th 2026 we invited a curated group of artists and makers to gather in the Italian countryside for five days of immersive practice. A retreat designed to give the participants the space, inspiration, and community to dive deep into their craft, all while being nourished by nature, local food, conversations and mindful practices.
The retreat took place in a villa in Ostuni, Italy. Surrounded by nature and stillness, yet with easy access to the local town for fresh produce and inspiration. The villa offered shared and private spaces, a large kitchen, and open common areas where art and conversation could unfold.
Every day dedicated hours of open creation was offered and the chance was given to explore the project that was calling, here supported by Daniel Aneto through workshops and mentoring. Italian-inspired meals were shared at the communal table and the food was prepared on-site with seasonal, locally sourced ingredients by our chef Mateusz Szota. To support presence and balance, daily sessions of yoga, breathwork, and meditation were guided by Helena Quist.

September 22nd to 28th 2026, Home of HAIKU invites a curated group of artists, writers, photographers, and makers to gather in Verona, Italy for seven days of immersive practice. Our retreats are designed to give you change of scenery, inspiration, and community to dive deeply into your craft — all while being nourished by nature, local food, and mindful practices.
This retreat is for anyone who feels called to step away from daily distractions and devote themselves to their craft. Whether you are an emerging artist or a seasoned professional, the only requirement is curiosity and openness.
